Office Coordinator, Medical Assistant

In many ways, Melissa is the face of the wound care clinic, running the front office and
coordinating care.

She states, “I’ve been in the medical field for over twenty years.  Even as a child I was
passionate about helping people and intrigued by human anatomy; so, becoming a medical
assistant was compelling.  It’s refreshing, working for a company that is dedicated to supporting
our patients’ goals and outcomes and encourages my personal and professional growth.   I love
that I get to work with our patients in the clinical setting under Dr. Thomas direction, but I also get to help navigate the obstacles with insurance and coordinate the care needed for our patients
to succeed at home.”
